My husband is in the memory care unit. I am pretty happy. He has been there about a month. Take the laundry home. I made that mistake the first week and haven't seen those clothes since then. I was there early one day and it hadn't been cleaned, but that is the only time I noticed urine.
The activities are too far between. I would like to see some chair exercises, or stretches, or walking to music. Some sort of art - it doesn't have to be great. Even pre-schoolers do some art, music, play.
Overall I am happy with those caring for him. They seem interested in knowing the clients and caring for them. God Bless them.
The administrators are caring people too and helped us alot.
