The constant rotation of caregivers, in and out, causes residents to feel uneasy. They cannot recognize or make any personal connections when no one works there more than a couple weeks. Everytime I visit there is someone new in charge. I keep
having the same conversations with yet another new RN/CNA. Everything you touch is nasty dirty. If I didn't change the sheets on my mothers bed, every time I go, they would never be clean. The bathroom, in her room, has no place to put a toothbrush, hairbrush, denture cup or even a hook for clothes or a bathrobe. Yes, they are terribly understaffed, but should the CNA's really have to scrape plates and clean tables in the dinng room? They should be assisting the resident's who cannot feed themselves. It feels like I am leaving my Mom alone each time I drive away and I wonder if the people who run this place could leave their family member in this sad place. These residents deserve some respect and TLC. My rating is minus one star!
