I am a resident at Trinity Mission. I have had no prior experience at nursing homes, but my only complaint there is the noise. There is contant activity in the hallways due to regular nursing home activity and due to some resiudents who are somewhat noisy. Kepping my door closed and wearing earplugs usually solves these problems.
Another problem there that contributes to the noise is the fact that bathrooms are shared between rooms (with two doors each). My "next door nerighbor" is nearly deaf and has his TV extremely loud. He watches TV at night and goes to sleep with his TV on so it's on all night and the loud noise comes into my room through our shared bathroom.
Also I am not convinced they have any emergency proceedures there in case of fire. I have been there 6 months and have never seen a fire drill. I cannot walk, and I fear that if there is ever a fire, the aides will run for their lives and I'll be left there in bed
I have nothing but praise for them for their care. Their staff is competant and caring.
