Review of Retama Manor Nursing Center/Victoria South

5 Star User Review

I have lived at Retama several times for the health care that I needed and then I returned home after getting well. It was a good place for me because the staff working there we're pretty good people. You have to share a room with another person, so hopefully all goes well, if not you can make a request to move to another room. I did once because my roommate wanted to sleep with all the lights on and run the TV all night. I just couldn't get no sleep, so it was time to move on. Lets see now, we played a lot of games and they had movie days too, which you could go into the dining room and watch special movies they had sat up for a group of people and about twice a month they would have live music with people singing. Now that was fun! On the holidays they would always have some special events going on too with lots of food and music played by a DJ.

Now that I'm back home again, sometimes I feel lonely and feel the need to go back and visit my friends I left behind. I hope this review helps you to decide if you want to live there or put one of your family members there, Anyways it don't matter to me which nursing home people go to, but I've been to others before and so far this one is the best one for me.
