The facility is all facade. Level of care is deplorable. My mother's experience with staff was awful. Concerns were met with defensive posturing with rare exception. There was little communication about care plans and milestones. A doctor was rarely seen, and when an appearance was made, she was intimidating and aggressively condescending. My mother had to expend so much energy in attempting to get along with the staff that the place that was supposed to help her regain strength terrorized and exhausted her. Medications were frequently dispensed wrong (she had to maintain her own log) and she was over-medicated with pain medicines because they insisted on giving her maximum doses at exact intervals instead of on-demand as her pain doctor prescribed. The only positive in her experience was the ability for her dog to visit in her room.
