My mother was a resident at Life Care Center of Plano. She was very close to death and I wasn't sure how long she had to live. She ended up being a resident there for over 3 years. I know that her quality of life was extended by the staff there. As time went by the staff became more and more familiar with my mom's needs.
I know that I wasn't the easiest person to get along with as I loved my mother very much. I wanted to make sure the staff did the right thing for my mom and they did. I had my share of concerns and they dealt with each one and helping me feel involved and important.
The nurses and cnas loved my mom very much and I could feel their caring attitude when she did get sick. The kitchen staff always tried to make mom happy with the food that she liked.
At some point, I knew the inevitable would happen and it did. Mom's strength gave out and it was time for her to go. It was a difficult time to let this happen. The staff were very attentive to my needs at the end of her life and ensured that all ended well. I can't thank the staff enough including management and administration for their caring attitude. My mom and I were both blessed by her stay.
