The only reason that I gave this facility a single star is due to their is no zero star rating.
My father-in-law was unfortunate enough to be at this location for a week. Within that week no admittance orientation, we had to go find them after waiting for two hours after arrival, his clothes were stolen or lost by staff the first day, medication and feeding precautions were ignored, dried feces on the floor, request for assistance were ignored for over an hour, contamination by used gloves lying about the visitors area, after leaving patient room the employee went to dinning room with used gloves still on, inadequate supplies, no proper bedding, inadequate staffing, staff that is working is lounging instead of working. There where more but I think I listed the majority. I also observed other residence interaction and the complacency was wide spread. I felt sorry for every person who has or had to endure the loss of their dignity.
The only ray of consideration is the rehab staff, which is contracted out and not associated with the facility.
Do your family member a favor and by-pass this location.

The staff at Baywood Crossing on Crenshaw has gone thru staff changes in the past month. Hopefully they will get it together now. Most of the CNA's do not get the recognition they deserve & do a wonderful job at taking care of the residents. They are always friendly & very attentive to the residents i have seen them work with. The nursing staff has changes over & over but a limited few that "really care" are still there.
