My mother lived here for 3 1/2 years until she died. I choose this over the competitor in Marble Falls and Burnet although both of those were closer to my home. They treated my mother as if she were their own. They knew her likes and dislikes and did all they could to help her. I traveled for my job and always felt comfortable leaving her there even when I could not check on her weekly. I noticed when I was there how they treated the other residents. I always saw the kindness and care. Sometimes they were busy and rushing about but that is to be expected when there are 70 residents. I would rather see this then staff that stand around doing nothing. Call lights were answered within 10-15 minutes which is acceptable when you realize that al of the residents need to be helped with toileting, dressing, eating, etc. I always felt I was at home when I walked in. The Administrator and all of the staff were eager to help and expressed concern for me as well as my mother.
