They don't keep employees long enough which is not good for the residents. The Don and Adon spend more than half of their time outside smoking. My grandmother was a resident each time I visited they were not in the office. The Don is not involved with the patients like she is supposed to. I am sure she cannot place a face to most of the residents. The nurses are wonderful, they are scared each time they come to work they would loss their jobs. It is a nice place if only they can put the management in order and keep their employees.

As a current emplyee at this facility, I couldn't disagree with you more. The management staff that is in place NOW, is why the staff is in fact so great do deal with. The current employees of Keller Oaks know that our management team expect nothing less than 100% effort in patient care. The only time that an employee would be afraid to come to work, would be if that was not what they gave, because as soon as they are found out, they will be gone. Our DON is the best! her job is to DIRECT THE NURSES, and that is what she does. She know every patient/residnet, she is very caring and concerned about the wellbeing of each and every one of them. However, her job actually requires that she do more than walk the halls and chat with the staff and residnets/patients. Our management team is AMAZING!
WOW! this really sounds like one of the substandard employees that USED to work there. The DON and her staff do an excellent job of weeding out the bad and try really hard to find good caring employees who enjoy taking care of our loved ones. I know my dad is happy and cared for.
