I only rate as a 2 star due to the facility itself is quite nice and set up very well.
My mother in law, a very lucid 93 year old, spent the most miserable night one can imagine at Autum Leaves June, 11, 2012.
We had talked her in to going to Autum Leaves just to have someone who could assist her as she recovered from bi-lateral insufficient sacral fractures. Her only meds were a pain pill to help her get through the healing phases. Even upon her request, she was never given one of her pain pills and was physically moved from her bed, while asking the staff to stop due to the pain, to the potty, although she did not need to void, all the while wearing a "Depends" (for the first time in 93 years). The night staff at Autum Leaves could not have messed this up any worse. We picked her up and took her home the next morning at 9:00am as she had called in tears… Now when mom really needs a nursing home, we will never get her to agree to go. Thanks Autum Leaves for making our future with this wonderful "LADY" so much more dim…….
