Unbelievable! Not only was my mother denied some of her regular medications, the on-call Dr. who assessed her (and took a full week to see her after checking in) told her she didn't need her medications - he didn't even ask what was wrong with her. Then the physically therapy staff told her that her fractured ankle (which happened a week before checking in and had an MRI done with her regular Dr. to confirm) wasn't new, in fact it was old and she needed to put weight on it…otherwise she needed to leave! Not to mention the overwhelming smell of urine and feces in the building. The smell is there probably because they don't help patients - my mother needs assistance in getting in and out of bed to her wheelchair - she called for help and after an hour of waiting she lost control of her bowels. To which the staff said it would "air dry" and left her to sit in it!!! This didn't happen once, but NUMEROUS times. Then consider the smears of feces on the floors and beds made out of PVC piping! I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. Needless to say we got her out of there ASAP! God help those still in there!
