First of all, apparently the "bad" reviews are from people that just don't get what they want when they want it. Like my mother's ex roomie who sat on a heat pump (ventilator) and who family wouldn't even help bring her a fan. Maybe you are one of those absentee children that only comes when your guilty gets to you and you just want to complain because you had a pissy day.
Well let me say that I am there almost EVERY day to check on my mother. The staff from her prior to taking residence up to the day she moved in was attentive and took time out of the night shift to show me around. Brent is one of the easiest administrators to work with and EVERYONE knows my name even though I can't remember theirs. Everything room I have been in has been extremely clean. Now there are those like my mom's ex roomie who will wait until the CNAs get right to the door and then take a big dump just to be mean. I guess it does smell.
But in my opinion all patients are engaged and lively and all the staff knows them by name. Maybe some of you should visit Imperial Gardens off Due West. I think they are all sedated or in comas there.
OR call McKeendree Village and ask for an application. Don't mention how much money you have cause they won't send you the app or call you back. Sounds like they need to move their facility to Franklin where all the RICH area.
