This is the most God awful nursing home in Memphis!!! If you want your loved one neglected and dead within a few days just bring them here. My family specifically asked the head of nurses there NOT to give our grandfather Seroquel. After feeling backed into a corner and intimidated by the staff, knowing they would kick him out if they couldn't keep him drugged up, they gave him more than what we agreed to. That was on a Friday evening. By the following Wednesday morning he was completely unresponsive and sent to the emergency room. ONE nurse let us know he had been like that for 2 days. We were NEVER notified of this! He had the worst bed sore I have ever seen and he was severely dehydrated! He died Friday morning at 1:15 a.m.. Not to mention the facility was disgusting and VERY outdated. I can't imagine how they could receive 5 star ratings. The staff is very rude, not helpful and disrespectful! If you called on one you ALWAYS had to wait for a response and when they would finally come in, they made it real clear you were bothering them! We also explained to them he was a high risk for falling because he was an amputee. Needless to say he fell out of his bed and wheelchair several times. He wasn't even at this facilty but 2 weeks. One of the nurse's had scratched the top of his hand making an open wound and lied about it. I wouldn't put my dog in this place! Oh, and good luck getting all your belongings back!
