The thing about Elmhurst that is different from other nursing homes is that they focus on quality of life. My mother spent time in another nursing home that was newer and part of a large corporation, but she spent everyday sitting across from the nursing desk with 15 other people. That has never happened at Elmhurst. They have helped her write her life story and other things that are more meaningful. Also, the food is good.
