Last year my father was admitted to this facility for rehabilitation. He went from a person who had dementia but was able to care for himself with minimal help, living alone at his home ,with caregivers, to a shell of a man who lost all of his kind personality . When he left there he could not even feed himself. And forget the rehabilitation-he was not even walking! This I don't believe was due to his PT's because they did a good job.
What they did was drug him because they did not have time to say hello--literally!!!!
Drugs were clearly not the answer as I repeatedly told them(you see they wanted the easy way out-avegetable) However, It snowballed on them because he then got out of control. They then did everything in there power to deceive me. It was unbelievable what they did!!!!
I do want to say that there were a couple of staff who were wonderful and saw and felt my pain.
I want to say that I did get my dad out of this facility and into a very caring nursing home. He is thriving there and is friendly,polite and liked by the staff.
Please really look at the residents at this facility and watch staff interactment before putting your loved one in this POORLY run facility!!!!!!!!
