Review of Deer Meadows Rehabilitation Center

1 Star User Review

My husband was in Deer Meadows for rehab and I found it to be , well, horrible. This is directly from their webpage:Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in our main dining rooms where the social atmosphere and delicious food make mealtime enjoyable for all.

Our five-week rotating, restaurant-style menus for independent living, personal care living and long-term health care residents ensures there is always a healthy variety to keep meals exciting and new.

Meals are prepared by our trained professionals, using only hand-selected produce, fresh herbs and spices and the freshest meat and seafood. "

The selections I've seen are take it or leave it. Breakfast is eggs or cereal, lunch some kind of inedible dish and dinner is sandwiches Not very good ones at that.

The equipment is being held together with chewing gum. Nurses and Asst's say they'll be right back with something and comeback either hours later or not at all When he was admitted the staff was more interested in how many toes he has then his medical needs. I am very grateful that he didn't need to be there that long. Trust me when I tell you if anyone in my family needs rehab or health care I WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES be recommending Deer Meadows to them
