Regarding telephones: First several times I called a patient, the phone did not work and the patient could hear me, but I could barely hear the patient, so I called the nurse's station and a nurse changed out the phone. I then called again, same result, a 2nd nurse again changed out the phone. I then called again and had to speak to a 3rd nurse who said, "well, that might be the best it is going to get," making NO EFFORT whatsoever to assist. I said, "you can hear me and I can hear you, so go down to that room and fix that telephone so that I get the same result. How long is it going to take?" She said, "10 minutes." I called exactly 10 minutes later and the issue had been resolved. In addition, the patient came home with about 20 items of clothing that were not theirs, and only about 3 items that were. Hmm. Other than that, no complaints except for the mushy pasta. Good PT.
