Our dad has Alzheimer's. At this facility, he went unbathed and in the same clothes for as many as four days in a row. He had multiple, recurring bedsores that went untreated even after complaints were made to staff. During one visit I witnessed a dementia patient's wheelchair given a hard shove by a staff member and sent backwards halfway down a hall with the patient in it. The staff member was angry because the patient wouldn't stop screaming. I did not see any attempts by them to try and improve our dad's condition or quality of life. He was not being involved in activities. He was instead made to sit in a wheelchair for hours on end. He was made to sleep that way as well, rather than in his bed many nights. And these are the minor complaints I have. If you love your family member please, please continue looking for a facility.
