Review of Trinity Skilled Care Center

4 Star User Review

I've been trying to find a way to e-mail a message to the director of nursing regarding my mother, Susan Gerrek, who is a current patient in 801. Your web site gives very detailed information, except how to contact individual personnel via e-mail, unless I simply could not find that information. The desk quite often doesn't have someone to answer the phone. I just want to ask that my mother finally be put on a regular diet, which my brother thought had been clarified yesterday when he was there. I learned that she is still refused whole wheat bread/toast. This is a simple pleasure: she dips the toast/roll/bread in her coffee after each meal. She has dentures, needs soft food but not ground. I will again try to reach your director of nursing via phone to finally straighten out this problem. Most of her care has been very good with few glitches. My mother is 101, has macular degeneration, hard of hearing, but has 100% brain power. I'm a retired R.N. and no doubt react more forcefully to needs/requests not being met. I've worked in hospitals and emphasize with shortages of nursing staff.

I also am an advocate for those whose needs are not being met, including family.

I live in Indianapolis, was with my mother for the first several days in your hospital.
