I was disappointed recently upon a visit to the Laurels. It smelled of urine and bm very strongly. I know things happen that cant be avoided, but upon talking to other rockford residents it seems to be a problem. Years ago it was NEVER that way. But since this corporation has taken over, not only is the cleanliness a problem, it seems that staff isnt treated very well by this corporation. A high turn over rate of aides and nurses unfortunately. Beautiful facility on the outside, but thats about all I can say…
