Both my parents have used this Kindred facility. They have been there separate and together. My father was having a severe problem aspirating when swallowing.
His speech therapy which involved electrical stimulation was so successful that this therapy prevented him from having the insertion of a feeding tube. Along with his successful physical therapy he has since been released and is now living at his home. Mother, at the present time, is recovering from two broken legs. I feel the staff that Mom has contact with all show a concerned willingness to help her recover from her health issues. In my opinion, the doctor care, nursing care, physical therapy staff and occupational therapy staff have all gone past my expectations. The admissions procedure was very professional. The staff of social workers has been extremely helpful. Answering our questions dealing with Medicare and Medicaid has been excellent. The social activities for the patients/residents are well planned. I feel grateful my parents have received the nursing and rehabilitation care from Kindred in Marion. My father is 92 and my mother is 91. Thank you to the staff at Kindred!
