They do not have enough staff to provide good care.
The RN's are responsible for over 50 patients and there is usually only one RN staffed with another LPN for 4 hours then the RN is on their own.
Staff is not happy and therefore are always complaining, even in front of residents and family members.
With all the med passing and treatments with IV's and feeding tubes and other patients on another floor the RN cannot keep up. There is no time for personal touch of any kind.
Simply not enough staff.
