Facility has some really great nurses and CNA's. Unfortunately the facility is grossly understaffed on all shifts! Administration is new and dropping the ball much of the time. Food services are atrocious with some residents not receiving meals and the timing of meals could be better. The food itself is very inconsistent. Some things are cooked well other things are horrible. The director of the kitchen is concerned more with getting stuff done under budget and under labor mandates. Cleanliness is a real problem. It is an old beat-up facility and housekeeping is mostly understaffed and slow. Maintenence too is a serious problem. Would I have sent my parents there? No I would not have. Rooms are extremely tiny. I give only ONE STAR because I feel the overworked staff deserves at least that. They try very hard to deal with 71 beds with a total of 7 CNA's on 1st shift, 5 CNA's on 2nd and only 4 CNA's on 3rd. There is one Med-Tech on during 1st and 2nd shifts, none on 3rd. There are 2 nurses on the main floor 1st and 2nd shifts but only one on 3rd shift. Sub-acute floor (10) beds has one nurse on all shifts. I included the sub-acute's CNA's with the totals above. I have been as honest and fair as possible. I have been here over 2 years, I am planning to leave shortly. The staff are all leaving, that is why. It seems that the newly hired people are annoyed whenever a resident asks for something.
