Review of First Community Village Healthcare Center

I arrived on a Sunday after having knee replacement. They seemed to not know I was coming. After waiting 10 minutes an aide came to get me with a wheelchair that had nothing to hold my feet up. From there things go worst. The room was not much bigger than a closet. The bed was inadequate, I waited in the hall sitting in a chair for 2 hours while they got another bed which was just as inadequate. I tried to go home and they told me I would have to personally paid for the stay, not my insurance. The 10 inch TV was behind the bed. The room size was about 10 by 10 feet. The toilet had a black ring around it. I also asked to see my chart and there I found 2 pages of someone else's chart. The nurses and staff as a whole were very nice, the food was fairly good. It was the administrative staff who talked out of both sides of their mouths, making promised that were not kept. After finding papers of someone else I was told I could go home the next day. Before leaving I tried to fine someone to talk to and they would almost run from me, the standard answer was, "I know nothing about that". For other people's sake I hope this place get better, but I will be going elsewhere for my second knee replacement surgery.
