this places is horrible. i work for a doctors office and every time we speak with the staff they are rude and not helpful what so ever. a patient was sent to our office with a rude aide who was not compassionate at all. the patient wet herself in our office and the aide was more concerned with feeding herself then the patients needs and made the patient walk to a near by fast food place to get herself food. i would never recommend any one take anyone in their family to this horrible place!

I myself, have had much experience with Wood's edge in the past as an RN Case Manager. I used to go there twice a week for a few years. This facility is DREADFUL. It's grim, more like a prison atmosphere, the residents are poorly cared for, most don't have appropriate clothing or toiletries, and I've seen hospice patients suffer there. I put my neck out on the line to advocate for these residents, and called State on *two* occasions. Both times, my complaints were found to be accurate, and Woods Edge was cited and fined on both occasions. I would NEVER NEVER recommend or refer ANYONE to place a loved one there. And yes, the staff is discompassionate and rude. One time, when one unfortunate resident was sent out to the hospital to have an amputation of his leg, the "wound care" nurse's only response was, "Oh great. When he comes back, I'm going to have to do dressing changes on him everyday." I was STUNNED.
