I agree that in all nursing homes there are those that care and those that do not. The facility is overall as clean as you would expect with patient care being the foremost priority. If budget does not allow for overstaffing in the housekeeping department to allow for adequate nursing and skilled care then so be it. I did see a lot of issues with the patients personal belongings and clothing. But rather that have the nursing home replace the items (which they offered to do) I felt that it was more inportant for the safety and well being of my loved one. So there was no reason for retaliation, we chose just to keep replacing the items ourselves. For the most part, 98% of the staff were very caring and went to great lengths to provide great service to the residents. Overall it is not the greatest nursing home but again it is not a private nursing home. Despite all of the complaints, I feel the overall experience is one of great reviews.
