One star for clean facility. Don't let the beautiful new building fool you. This facility is more concerned about the money they will get from filling a bed than they are about caring for your loved one. We were promised many things, none delivered. Instead of a care plan meeting we had a financial meeting. Therapy services were denied, the Dr was hardly available and not very attentive, nursing care was inconsistent. Wounds were not attended to properly. Medications were changed and administered improperly. Upon the patient's return from a short hospital stay, the room had been changed from a private short term room, to a shared long term room…with NO NOTICE given. The facility claimed understaffing was the issue…Funny how they had plenty of staff before they found out the patient was out of network and not on medicaid. We had our loved one transferred to another facility, and that too has been a debacle. Records were not sent, phone calls not returned, information about follow up Dr visits was not sent with the patient. What a nightmare. If you care about your loved one, look elsewhere!!

I don't know who wrote this review but I can assure you evry word is true,,,unbelieveable!!!!!! I had the same experience. HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE.!!! This is not a place for anyone needing assistance in anything. All they care about is filling beds.
I agree my father died yesterday due to same things you write about.When our family inquired about care of my father we were told everything is fine.My father died yesterday .He had an untreated wound that was infected that our family knew nonthing about.Peaks insisted it was their when he came.My Father was seen by a wound specialist prior to going to Peaks and pictures were taken no open wound. The wound was open and too the bone .The doctor who treated him in the Emergency room said it looked as it was not cared for.My Father's life has ended sooner with the help of Peaks and their neglect and lies . I requested his medical records and found out things Peaks had not shared with our family that would have changed our plans and gave my Father peace in the time he had left instead of the suffering, I am sure he endured after seeing the wound on his leg.
