We are SO, so sorry that my Mom was sent to this place after her stroke. That's all I'm saying - for now. Foul deeds *will* rise. They treat patient's family members like they're powerless but that's simply not the case.
And don't believe they're "non-profit" because they're NOT. That's one of many lies. The care center is owned by the St. Johnland's Society which is FOR-profit; their only long-term goal is to set up a high-end retirement center across the street from which they stand to make a GREAT deal of money. The WHOLE place is a tool for them to accomplish that goal. Above all, DO NOT TRUST them!!!!

this place is absurd. Nurses and especially aides have such an attitude. Inconsiderate aides, nurses, and Maureen Orsen does not give a sh!t about patients, because if she did, she would have keep quiet signs throughout the dumpy establishment. NOBODY CAN SLEEP HERE! The aides have no respect during all hours of the night, disscussing their personal lives, aloud in the halls, laughing, discussing aloud at 2am how they are going to win lotto, and all kinds of nonsense, and the nurse does nothing at all to quiet them up. Highly inexperienced wanna-be therapists have a major attitude and think who the hell they are towards family members and patients. They don t realize how sick stroke and head injury patients are and start off in the beginning #$%$ off the patient. Most of the aides are from Haiti, and have NO knowledge of what a sick patient requires. Most head injury patients require massive sleep and they can not get it here. Every hour they wake you up from 6pm to 8am. They leave the patients in dirty diapers and do whatever is easiest for them to not work. AN OUTRIGHT SIN! I caught the therapists in multiple lies and they can t answer your questions, so instead they get #$%$ off at the family members. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMDED!
