My Mom has been in numerous rehab facilities over the years. We heard good things about Glenfariff. It is certainly stunning looking at the Prat Pavilion, the short term rehab part of the facility. It looks like a five star hotel. However, presently there is no dinning room, all meals must be taken in the room. Therefore, no opportunity to socialize or meet other residents. No coffee shop, no set place for any activities or entertainment, no vending machines, nothing except physical therapy and your small pretty room.
The physical therapy is very good, better than average. The nursing care however is among the worst we have encountered. Impersonal, uncaring, inept, slow, rude, threatening, totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Do not send your family member here unless there are no other choices.
