Review of Franklin Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

Franklin Center, from my experience, is very under-funded as well as understaffed. Many of the nurses and aides often seem absent in time of need, and seem inattentive. The considerate ones who actually seem to care are few and rare. They do not thoroughly check on the patients to make sure they have everything they need, diaper changes are only about 2 times a day, and they leave their patients to sit in their own excrements for hours. Also, although they say that there are staff who speak Cantonese and Mandarin, many of the nurses and aides do not. It is hard to get your needs heard if you do not speak English.

The facility itself is smelly and dirty, and is not a pleasant place at all, but I guess this is the same for almost all the nursing homes.
