Review of Triboro Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

Had a family member there; I live out of state. Received a phone call from the case manager, she left message. I called several times over a two week period and left several messages; never received a call back. I finally called and spoke with the operator and asked or the nurses station for my family member. Phone calls are a nightmare, wrong numbers, connected to room instead of nursing station as I asked. 5 phone calls to finally speak to someone; who would not give me info even though I explained I am in the chart as the caregiver. Requested someone call me back. NEVER did anyone call me back. Finally received a phone call a month later that family member was sent to E.R. Family member developed septic shock and passed away at the hospital; infection came from nursing home. I am VERY unhappy with this facility. Would NOT recommend anyone place a family member there [especially if you live out of state].
