Review of Advanced Health Care of Albuquerque

4 Star User Review

This is probably the best place in Albuquerque to end up if rehab is what you need. It is not a nursing facility so do not think of it as such. The place is very clean and at first glance seems like a nice hotel. The dining area is lovely and the cook does try to meet people special needs. Some of the food is a little too gourmet for those just out of the hospital and the portions are a little too big. The nursing staff are very good and caring however there are so many that are only unskilled labour. They are cheerful and helpful but not nurses and have little or no medical training. It was sometimes necessary to tell them what needed to be done and how. The night staff is very sparse and it is hoped you will not need someone urgently. They do welcome your family member who wants to stay with you overnight and the rehab staff are excellent. It would be nice to see a doctor now and again or have trained RNs have more time for you. The only thing better than this would be to afford a trained RN around the clock.
