My mom has been in the rehab after being hospitalized with mrsa and severe bladder infections, this place didnt check her once for an infection even after noticing she had become much weaker during rehab. I had to come up here and demand she be taken to ER for an evaluation, they called a transport company not 911. It took nearly three hours for this rehab to have her transported which is totally outrageous. Long story short she was hospitalized with sepsis from a severe infection. They said here blood pressure was normal and she had a slight temperature but hospital ER gave an entirely version of story, her blood pressure was unstable and she had a high fever. There are two nurses for about 60 very frail people and the education level of even the nursing supervisor is questionable. There is suppose to be a doctor within five minutes of this hospital and not once did this doctor come to see my mother during this emergency. My next step is getting an attorney and filing a complaint with the state. Capital Health at Hopewell referred her for rehab thinking it was new and could help get her back on her feet. Instead it is a corporation disguised as a rehab with nothing but foreign employees running the place. When my mom got to ER the doctor did her exam and noted the rehab didnt even wash her properly, so you have a frail woman in a medical facility being neglected. Do not putyour parent there unless you don't care about them and would rather see them neglected.
