My family member is in this facility. I have to report that the stench in those units particularly unit 1, ruddisill, and counsilman, is deplorable. It's not just day to day, someone messed their pants. It is the filthy, urine, moldy carpeting, and unclean conditions. The lobby is beautiful, welcoming, as is the administrative, and assisted living areas, but I guess in the medical care wings they just don't care…..My children won't go visit their grandparent because of the consistent unbearable oder. These areas should be addressed by the state, but I'm sure they do something to make sure they pass state guidelines while the inspection is going on…..Afterwards the air quality goes way, way down…..Something should be done to rectify this situation. All that money for new signage and fresh paint in admin…maybe some can be spent to hire someone to really clean the areas where loved ones have to live!
