They let there clients sit or lay in bed. They don't change the father enough…

Riverbend Heights provides quality care and has great nursing staff. I have been in this facility many times over the past 3 years and have never seen residents just sitting or laying in bed. The ones in bed are bed bound or have to go to bed due to health issues. What I have noticed the past three years is the families of many residents don't come around to visit their family members, until they are close to dying. Then the complaints start…such as 'why did this happen', what did you do to my …The best way to ensure quality care with ANY nursing home is to be a part of your family members care, get involved, ask questions, complain when you need to, but BE INVOLVED.
