My Dad is in the alzheimer's unit at Benchmark. The nurses, LPN's and care assistants are all wonderul in this unit. What amazes me the most is that there is no "bad" smell when you enter the facility or the alzheimer's unit. Dad has been living there for two years now, and we have no complaints. We visit him on a daily basis--he's clean, healthy and happy. The only con I can think of is that the food is sometimes over cooked to the point that he can't eat it….but they're quick to get him food that he can eat. Go in for a visit--it's a good place.
