This place is an absolute nightmare. The worst nursing home facility I have seen in the area. Patients walk around soiled through their clothes and smelling, and nurses and aides ignore them. The food is shameful. Most residents decline rapidly from malnutrition because they cannot stomach the disgusting food that is put in front of them. The staff and the aides can't be bothered. The only time they show any interest is when they want to dope up your loved one even more so they can have even less work to do. I wish I had the time necessary to make it my personal crusade to get this place shut down. It breaks my heart that there are many residents in their dementia care unit with no one to advocate for them. It is a sin how they are neglected and treated. I honestly do not know how the people employed by this facility sleep at night. The one saving grace at this place is their activities director. This woman truly seems to care about the residents. She is the ONLY person I EVER encountered at this place that showed any compassion for these poor sick people being ravaged by an illness that isn't within their control.
