Although my Dad passed away in late 2009, for two years after his stroke he was a resident of Presentation; and we were very pleased as a family with the level of care he received, especially in his section, which was "One West". The nursing staff and most of the nursing aides were very caring, and what really mattered to me was the sense that my Dad was not just "a number", but cared for as a human being. It is never easy frankly to have a loved one in a nursing home and not at home, but the staff at Presentation really do care, and that for me is the most important thing- making someone feel at home and cared for - which my Dad was.
