My mother is a current resident at facility and when we (her children) asked to speak with the doctor providing care for a serious bacterial infection, we were told by nursing staff that would not be possible. We are not provided information on her condition even upon request. We are not provided sufficient notice for "scheduled" meetings but instead are told when we have to be there only hours before the meeting. We were only provided 4 business days notice of her discharge even though she is not capable of walking or caring for her self.
