Review of Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation Center

4 Star User Review

This is supposed to be one of the better places, and it was not bad but not perfect. They have no room nor staff to help someone toilet - if you can't make it on your own, no one will react quickly so Depends are a must. The other person sharing the room had C-diff and was not isolated, which was a concern, but you are relying on the staff to wash hands properly before touching next patient. The rooms, unlike a hospital, do not have anti-bacterial wash at the door. All of the staff was really nice, great people, but in general, it is understaffed. The food was very good and the staff cared about the welfare of the patients. The therapy is not 7 days a week, but 5 days a week. All in all, I would recommend this place as it is probably better than most. The nursing staff treated my loved one well, the doctor there was very good with my loved one, but the rooms are tiny and consequently very crowded but the therapy staff was excellent.
