My father was admitted for rehab. Caregivers did not wear badges making chronicling of events difficult. In fact we were not sure there was even an RN on the floor…..at least they were not identifiable. Three days out of surgery he was not given his prescribed medication (he went for 10 hours in their care without them). There were NO sidearms on raised beds increasing chances of falls(?). When asked, a caregiver said that it was policy to not have bars -they are restrictive (?). Bathroom was not stocked and other minor inconveniences, but the withholding of meds is the most serious in our case. We removed him from their "care".
