My mother was there from June until August in 2010 trying to be weaned from a ventilator. While the staff is very caring, staffing is inadequate. We hired private nursing at night and kept a family member in the room during the day. The ventilation equipment is very old. One that my mom was on did not alarm when she stopped breathing. Thankfully, the private nurse was there. Air conditioning is poor and fans have to be used to move the air. While Mom was there they had a flood due to clogged drains in the atrium area followed by a fire a few weeks later in the laundry room.
