A freshly remodeled building with work continuing, a quiet, pleasant atmosphere when you walk through the door. You are greeted with smiles by residents and staff. A recent survey found 0 nursing and 0 environmental deficiencies. The new DON has really pushed his staff to be accountable for providing excellent care and promoting resident comfort and safety above all else. As far as nursing homes go, the Abington on Grand definitely offers the comforts of home with the convenience of 24-hour professional care.
