After having an unfavorable experience at a different nursing home, my family was relieved to find Avalon Springs. We knew that Avalon Springs was fairly new and might have openings, but they had a great reputation and beds were filling fast----they now have almost 70 occupants. My mother’s health showed immediate and ongoing improvements as a result of the consistent and outstanding care of her nurses/CNA’s/therapists, an improved and balanced diet(chef/team/menu outstanding), and the positive atmosphere overall.
Regardless of title or responsibilities, every staff member holds themselves accountable for all aspects of patient care and they do not subscribe to giving anyone the “run-around’. If the individual you are talking to doesn't have an answer to a question, they will personally find the person that does. Every staff member treats patients AND their family/guests with respect and dignity.
Rooms very cozy, comfortable & CLEAN
Nursing care is professional, proactive.
Activities are varied and get rave reviews from all.
Dining Room/Menu/Food- Terrific! I often join my mom for a meal when I visit.
Overall environment is welcoming and clean----the only odors one will notice upon entering might be from the kitchen such as the fresh baked breads!
