Well so far my grandmother has been in this facility for 2 days now and all I can say is WOW and NOT in a good way. When we entered the room we were amazed on how disgusting the room looked and felt. (Nothing like what the brochure had mentioned and looked) The chair was full of stains and the bed had little bedding on it. After getting her settled in as much as we could I tried turning the TV on for her before we left and there was no remote. I walked down to the nurses station and as I asked about a remote the young lady looked at my in disgust and said "well if its not in the top drawer, she has to wait till tomorrow." I couldnt believe her rudeness. Then this morning my grandmother calls and asks for more pants. Well to my amazement, she went to go to the restroom, which is shared with another resident, and the door was locked. No button or alarm to call for the nurses for assistance close by so she had no choice but to urinate in her pants. Then when talking to the staff they responded with " well we try and see how the patient acts first before doing anything" REALLY?! a 70 year old woman should not have to go through that. I would never recommend this place and I cant wait to get her out of that horrible place. We will be looking for another rehab center asap.
