Review of North Capitol Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

I would not recommend this facility to anyone, my mother was at this facility for 2 and 1/2 years. The first 1 and 1/2 she was treated ok. The nurses are slow to answer call lights and the CNA's are not qualified. My mother was dropped by a CNA and then threatened by that same CNA when I questioned her actions. When the call light is on the staff takes twenty minutes to answer and if they do not like the patient it can take much longer. My mother also had a treache and a ventilator and the staff would get on to her if she wanted to be suctioned more that they thought she should be. She got a staph infection and ended up in the ICU of the hospital three different times. The last time she was also diagnosed with a broken him and pnuemonia. She passed away three weeks after being admitted. When I spoke with the director about my mothers condition and care she simply stated that she would look into it.
