Both of my parents passed away in this nursing home (Greenwood Health & Living, Greenwood, IN); my mom in 2007, my dad in 2014. We were very pleased w/ my mom's care when she lived there, thus the reason we admitted my Dad there. We were sorely disappointed in his care. My sibling & I each visited my Dad every day of the 3 weeks he was there. We were constantly having to look for a nurse to resolve a problem, and some of the nurses acted very bothered by our presence or request. The young Dir. of Nursing was kind and went out of her way to try and help us. We felt like we were having to "put out fires" every day. It broke our hearts to leave Dad there. We are getting ready to pay $2,940.00 for 11 days of room and board. We cannot give this nursing home a high or average rating.
