Review of Lexington of Schaumburg

There have been no review of this facility because family complaints regarding poor care of patients to the staff lead to neglect to the patient. Any family who visits on a daily basis sees poor patient care, high turnover of cna's and management all pass the buck. Third floor manager is bi polar(fact). She is rude to family members; can't imagine what she is like to the patients when family is gone. They may document daily activity according to regulations, however there needs to be spy cameras in this place and needs to be investigated. If you have a family member here u can be sure they receive minimal care. There is one lady who is paid by the family to sit with the family member daily. Hmmm, makes you wonder why. Lexington nursing homes may have higher reviews than other homes in general because they are required to follow regulations, however this place has the worst management staff, which leads to high turn over in cna's and poor management of cna"s, to poor service to the patients. Think twice before placing family member here! Many attempts of family complaints to staff and management have gone unresolved and neglect to patient. Lets see if public complaint on line to viewers will help correct this problem. Many of us don't have the means to keep family @ home. Unfortunately we need to use nursing care facilities. This facility has a nice appearance, great advertising portfolio, but once your there beware! They will tell you if you don't like it here move your loved one somewhere else. . . wow. . . that"s how they resolve problems here if you complain too much about their care to patient.
