I always find it interesting that only the complainers bother to post ratings on these type of rating sites.
My mother has been a resident since March 16th 2012 and she is very happy and well taken care of, she had 90 days of rehab and showed a lot of improvement. My sister and I did a lot of investigation into the facilities in the Elgin area and this one always came out on top. It's not the Ritz-Carlton, but as far as nursing homes I have never been in one this clean or odor free. My sister visits at least a couple times a week and I fly in for a week every 3 months or so. The people who work in these facilities are paid barely above minimum wage; I think they do an excellent job all things considered. Our family is very thankful for Heritage Health and all they do.
