This place is awful. Nurses don't check on patients. Doctor only comes three days a week! Rooms are dirty! Please don!t put anyone you love here! VA Hospital dumped a relative here, six days no nurse or doctor care he was almost dead when brother went to check on him. He was rushed to hospital, but later passed away! Overall rating a 0. Very poor facility.

I know this review was made in 2011 but I just have to say I wish I had listened to this review. My mother was in a hospital where she had a trachea put in. She was doing well enough at the hospital that they said she was ready for rehab. This place was supposed to specialize in taking patients with a trachea. When my mother got there they didn't have a clue. They didn't even know how to give her a breathing treatment. Nor did they have her medications on hand. She went over 24 hours without her medication, they gave her insulin without even checking her blood sugar to tell them how much to give her. It took them 3 hours to get her a bed pan. My mother went to this facility to get better on the 5th of Sept. she went from talking and eating and on the road to recovery, but we got a call on the 8th of Sept. telling us she was having problems breathing and was rushed to the ER where she passed away. So if you love the person in your life who needs a rehab center don't send them here unless you want them to pass away.
